The Recreational Competition Group is aimed at those gymnasts who enjoy competing in competitions but doesn’t have the pressure of a squad environment.  It is run by Beth Menear, Artistic Club Coach, who has several years experience in coaching recreational gymnasts.  The group was formed in 2007 and has been hugely successful, with the current group made up of 30 gymnasts.  It is a mixed group of boys and girls, aged between 8-15 years.  They compete mainly on Floor, Vault and Trampet but training can involve other apparatus.  We compete in around 4 competitions a year at various venues around Bristol.

The group is by invitation only and we are always looking for talented recreational gymnasts to join us.  Training is 4 hours per week - either a Monday & Friday or Wednesday & Friday depending on ability.
